Tuesday on The Chad Hasty Show, racism in the U.S. was one of the early topics. Chad talked about an article posted at USA Today about Starbucks and USA Today teaming up to encourage customers to discuss racial issues in the United States. The effort is being called, "Race Together", and will include newspaper supplements that include a "conversation starters" guide for people.

Starbucks is encouraging it's baristas to initiate conversation on the subject with customers.

"No matter what move you make, you're going to be called a racist", Hasty said. He continued, "Starbucks isn't ready to have a discussion on race, they're ready to keep blaming white people for what's going on. And they'll happily do so after they charge you five dollars for a cup of coffee."

Listen to the Chad's opinions on the issue in the video box above.
