Texans Will No Longer Be Able To Buy These Drinks From Starbucks Beginning in March
Starbucks is preparing to make big changes to its menu nationwide. The coffee giant announced this week that they are preparing to get rid of many drinks that they can't move and take too much time to make when someone does eventually order it.
In other words, Starbucks is dropping the less popular drinks and shrinking its current menu. According to the Associated Press, in the announcement made on Monday, Starbucks believes that getting rid of the unpopular drinks will lead to reduced wait times and better consistency.
The purge of unpopular Starbucks options will begin on March 4. Starbucks said on Monday they still plan to release seasonal and innovative drinks throughout the year.
In addition to getting rid of menu items, Starbucks announced that they would be laying off 1,100 corporate employees around the globe this week. The layoffs are intended to make things run more efficiently according to the AP.
