Ever wanted to just go back in time and stay at a famous persons house well now you can. The former home of the legendary Peggy Sue, from the Buddy Holly song, has officially become an Airbnb and it is decked out to accommodate new and old fans alike.

This home belonged to Peggy Sue for more than 15 years and when the property hit the market that's when local real estate agents and father and son duo, Scott and Travis Toman, looked into the history of the home and decided they had to turn it into something great. This was also a way for the father and son duo to provide a space for Buddy Holly and Peggy Sue fans the chance to be able to dive into a piece of Lubbock music history.

"We spoke with the daughter of Peggy Sue and she was thrilled to hear that we were turning this into an Airbnb" said Travis in an interview. Travis also said that it was neat to operate on a home that is so deeply embedded in Lubbock history. The Peggy Sue House has been live on Airbnb for about two months with lots of people interested to stay and experience Lubbock. One group reportedly stayed an entire month and the house has been booked for most Texas Tech football games along with most weekends.

The Peggy Sue House is also in just the right spot when it comes down to figuring out what to do once you are all checked in. Conveniently, the house is located close to Texas Tech and the medical district of Lubbock in that sweet spot where you can go out shopping or go out for a night on the town. This Airbnb is very easy going when it comes to house rules and chores with the Toman's just wanting people to respect the home the same they would their own.

The Peggy Sue House is starting to get bookings for November and December so booking those stays is easy by just going to the Airbnb website.
