Bayou City Bicyclist Shot in Drive-By

Houston police say a bicyclist has died after he was the victim of a shooting while out on an evening bike ride.

The Houston Chronicle reports that the man was riding a bicycle along the roadway when he was shot from inside another vehicle late Wednesday night (Oct. 7).

The bicyclist, whose name has not been released, succumbed to his wounds following the accident.

Investigators on the scene found several bullet casings on the street where the crime was committed, but at this time police have no lead on a suspect or a motive.
