Attorney General Abbott Says Delegates Are Uniting Behind Romney Despite Differences in the Past
During and after the Republican primaries, there were concerns that a significant number of Republicans, including supporters of Ron Paul, would not unite behind Mitt Romney if he became the nominee. But in an exclusive interview on Lubbock’s First News on KFYO, Attorney General Greg Abbott said the delegates seemed to be united:
“I talked to a lot of Ron Paul supporters who said they had only one goal for the next ten weeks, and that is do everything they could get Mitt Romney elected of the United States.”
