Argument in East Lubbock Leads Father to Allegedly Kill His Daughter
The Lubbock Police Department says a Lubbock father allegedly shot and killed his daughter on Thursday, September 30th.
Lubbock police responded to reports of a stabbing at 2:51 p.m. Thursday afternoon (September 30th, 2021) in the 2400 block of East 30th Street. When officers arrived at the scene, they found 52-year-old Pamela Boyd with a gunshot wound to the leg. She was taken to University Medical Center where she later died.

An investigation revealed that Pamela's father, 76-year-old Clyde Boyd, allegedly shot her while in an argument. It was later determined that no stabbing had occurred.
Clyde was arrested around 8 p.m. and charged with murder.
