Anti-Gang Operation Results in 48 Arrests in Lubbock County

The Texas Anti-Gang Center-Lubbock Facebook page announced earlier on Monday that Texas Anti-Gang investigators along with local, state, and federal partners conducted a successful two-day gang suppression operation. The two day street-level operation resulted in 48 arrests in Lubbock County.
According to the press release, the two-day operation was carried out on March 10 and 11th, 2022. The multi-agency operation targeted known those who were known gang members with outstanding warrants for different violent and drug related crimes. The operation was launched in an effort to disrupt gang activity locally.
According to a press release, 48 people were arrested and the Texas Anti-Gang investigators were able to identify 13 new gang members in the county:
During the two days, a total of 48 people were arrested, 31 arrest warrants were cleared and 11 firearms seized.
