Another Popular Lubbock Burger Restaurant Is Closing
Lubbock is losing another business. Heff's burgers located at 82nd and Frankford Avenue will be closing their doors for good later this month. If it seems like Lubbock has had a lot of closings this year, well, we have. Rising food costs, rising salaries, lack of workers, rent increases, have all added up and for many the rise in costs has just been too much.
Over the weekend, the management team of Heff's took to Facebook to announce the closing and explain why they are having to shut their doors.
Heff's Burgers, to have been one of the places you chose to eat at. It has been a pleasure to have served every single one of you and to have been part of this Great Community for as long as we have. It is with our sincerest regret that we inform you that we will be permanently closing due to an increase in rent and food cost.
Heff's opened in 2016 and quickly became a favorite in Lubbock. Known for their large burgers and great fries. They also have ice cream and shakes.
The good news for fans of Heff's? You still have time to enjoy one of their great burgers and support the local ownership, management, and employees. This has to be one of the worst times of year to decide to close a business, with the holiday season adding extra expenses to many budgets. Heff's is staying open until December 28th so stop on by and help them "go out with a blast".
We wish everyone at Heff's best of luck in their future endeavors.
