An additional $5,000 has been donated by a Lubbock law firm for information regarding the death of a 4-year-old Lubbock boy.

The incident occurred on December 17th, 2021 when Lubbock police were called to a home in the 700 block of East Ursuline Street. When officers arrived, they learned of 4-year-old Cornelius Carrington, who passed away at a University Medical Center.

Authorities believe the child was shot during a drive-by shooting.

On Thursday, February 3rd, Lubbock-based law firm Glasheen, Valles, & Inderman, LLC donated an additional $5,000 to the previous total reward of $7,500. Another law firm, Kerby & Wade, P.C., donated $2,500. The original $6,000 reward was offered by Crime Line.

Anyone with information regarding the shooting or the suspects involved, is eligible for a $12,500 reward.
