The Lubbock Police Department will be shutting down parts of Interstate 27 and 82nd Street Wednesday (July 11) morning for an accident investigation.

Accident Investigators will be looking into a July 4th crash that occurred on I-27 between a motorcycle and a car. Officers will shut down the northbound lanes of I-27 between the 34th Street and 19th Street exits. After the I-27 closure is completed, investigators will go to the 1500 block of 82nd Street. The closure is expected to begin around 10 a.m. and last approximately two hours.

Keep these closures in mind during your Wednesday morning commutes.
