Abel Alonzo Charged with Murder of His Wife

A Lubbock man has been charged with murder for the death of his wife.

Abel Alonzo was charged for the December 18^th death of his wife Denise Alonzo.

Lubbock Police say Alozo stabbed his wife and proceeded to set their home on fire.

The warrant says that Denise Alonzo was stabbed, choked, and beaten before Abel Alonzo burned her body.

Abel Alonzo was reported to have run out of the house screaming and covered in blood while the house was burning.
