A New Breakfast and Pastries Shop Is Popping Up In Downtown Lubbock
Call it a delicious partnership. Emerald House and Chez Sami.
If you have ever been to Chez Sami in Downtown Lubbock, you already know how good the food is and how Chef Jon Walter is always coming up with great dishes and ideas that keep people going back.
And if you have ever been out to the First Friday Art Trail or attended one of the Sunset Markets in Lubbock, you may have come across Emerald House and picked up some of Pastry Chef Noah Meek's bread or pastries.
Well now the two Chefs are coming together for at least the next year to bring a breakfast and pastries location to Downtown Lubbock.
It's called Emerald House Pastry Parlor at Chez Sami Downtown Bakery, and I have a feeling people are going to be driving from all over Lubbock to enjoy this new concept.
Emerald House and Chez Sami Partnering Up
Emerald House Pastry Parlor will open Saturday, March 22 at 7:00 a.m. Normal business hours and days will be Tuesday-Saturday 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. They will be located inside Chez Sami at 1219 Crickets Avenue.
What can you expect? According to Emerald House, expect all things French pastry from Chef Noah Meek. You can expect to be able to purchase Croissants, Sourdough, Baguettes, Brioche, and Chocolate Croissants. During breakfast, Chef Jon Walter will be preparing options like Pain Perdu (French toast), Eggs Benedict, Quiche, French omelette and more.
And of course, you can't forget about the espresso.
And this is just to start things off. More items will be added to the menu as time goes on. It's not every day where you have two Chefs coming together to establish a new concept. So get ready to check swing by and try it.
For those who are on the run or wanting to get their items to go, you will be able grab something and go or sit down and have breakfast.
Don't forget, Emerald House Pastry and Chez Sami will kick things off Saturday, March 22 from 7:00 a.m. to 1 p.m. I'll see you there.
