On Monday's edition of KFYO Mornings with Dave King & Matt Martin, John Wallis, President of the 2019 Lubbock Memorial Arboretum Foundation Board joined the broadcast in the KFYO studio to talk about the latest news and events from the arboretum.

Wallis talked about the foundation's monthly programs and shared general information about the fantastic grounds of the Arboretum, which is open to the public 7 days a week from ​5:00 A.M. until 12:00 midnight, with no charge for admission.

About the location, Wallis said, "It's one of the larger arboretums between Dallas and California. There's a lot to see out there, we have over one hundred and twelve different species of trees."
