3 People Injured in a Car Accident at a Family Dollar in Lubbock

On Thursday, July 9, Lubbock police responded to a car accident that injured 3 people. KAMC News reports the accident occurred at about 1 a.m. in the parking lot of the Family Dollar location at 4426 34th Street.

A photo of the accident shows a white Toyota Camry crashed into the concrete base of a metal light pole. According to a police report, 3 people were seriously injured in the accident after the driver lost control.

The crash victims have been identified as 25-year-old Shadley Perez, 29-year-old Isaiah Lucio and 28-year-old Jessica Perez. They were last reported to be receiving treatment at UMC but their current condition is unknown.

Crash investigators with the Lubbock Police Department are still determining what led to the accident.
