Congressman Arrington Talks Growing Economy, Socialism, and More

Monday on KFYO Mornings with Dave King and Matt Martin, Congressman Jodey Arrington joined Matt Martin and Paul R. Bean to talk about several issues nationally including how the economy has been improving, the unemployment rate, recent comments from Nancy Pelosi, socialism, and more.

Congressman Arrington started by talking about how our economy and wages have been growing, and that America now has the #1 most competitive economy for the first time in a decade, to which he said, "If that isn't a great American comeback story than I don't know what is." Paul R. Bean brought up the point that more minorities are working and that there are more job opportunities in America right now, but despite this, many in the media will completely ignore this. He then asked the Congressman what can be done to help combat this idea. Arrington explained that he is completely willing to support a democrat who wants to help America, but that he believes that most of them want to see President Trump fail more than they want America to succeed. He went on to say,

"I don't think another president has done any better in recent history, if not ever, in creating opportunity and furnishing the brand of America that this is the land of opportunity, and with opportunities, with real security, and with freedom, this will continue to be the shining city on the hill."
