Rep. Randy Neugebauer Explains His Vote Regarding the Payroll Tax Holiday [AUDIO]

During his weekly interview on Lubbock’s First News on KFYO, Rep. Randy Neugebauer defended his recent vote not to extend the payroll tax holiday.
“One of the things that I’ve been concerned about is the solvency of the SS program. I just don’t think it was good policy to take money out of Social Security and borrow from the Chinese, and let our children pay it back. Overall, I didn’t think it was good policy.”
Neugebauer said the payroll tax holiday is going to increase the deficit by $120 billion.
Congressman Neugebauer also discussed the upcoming Service Academy Forums he’s hosting on March 3rd for potential applicants for the U.S. Military Service Academies.
