Parking changes have been announced for an upcoming concert.

Texas Tech has announced that parking for the Taylor Swift concert Friday will be revised from the original plan.

Concert doors will open at 5:30 p.m. and the show will begin at 7 p.m. Tech says to expect heavy traffic, and advises fans to arrive early.

Free concert parking will be available in C15, which includes the lot west, north, and south of KTXT-TV, which is accessible by Knoxville Avenue and the Texas Tech Parkway, as well as in lots C12 and C14, south and west of the animal science building, accessible via the Marsha Sharp Freeway. These lots will not be accessible by Indiana Avenue.

Football tailgaters will occupy the lot west of the United Spirit Arena immediately across Indiana Avenue (C13), the lot west of the School of Law (C17), and portions of the C16 lot.

Complimentary shuttle service will be provided from free parking located at the north side of the Texas Tech Health Sciences Center, accessible via 4th Street.

Indiana Avenue will be open in front of the arena only for drivers dropping off concertgoers, and ADA parking pass holders. Guest drop-off will be curbside, immediately west of the arena in the right lane.

Parking for ADA plates or hang-tags will be available in the R37 lot immediately west of the arena, accessible by Indiana Avenue from the south, and in the western side of C11, accessible by Main Street from Flint Avenue.
