Houston Democratic Party Leader Calls For The Shooting Of NRA Members

Houston Democratic party leader and member of the State Democratic Executive committee, John Cobaruvvias, called for the shooting of NRA members on his Twitter account, in response to the mass shooting in Newton, CT. His Twitter post stated, "Can we now shoot the #NRA and everyone who defends them?"

Cobaruvvias later deleted the tweet calling for violence and posted this apology.

His apology could be hard for some to believe as he made several other strongly worded condemnations of the NRA on his Facebook page including this one.

The NRA has shut down their Facebook and Twitter and refuse to make comment until the facts of the case are known.
