Dan Pope Says City Should Advise On Annexation Plans Well In Advance [INTERVIEW]

Friday on The Chad Hasty Show Lubbock mayoral candidate Dan Pope joined the show in the KFYO studio to talk about the race and many issues facing the city of Lubbock.

Among the topics discussed were his investment activity in downtown, the city's debt, tornado sirens and annexation.

While talking about annexation, Pope said,

I think we owe property owners a plan. We need to let them know where the city is coming, and if we're going to annex their area we need to let them know that. And they should know that it's our intent to do that well in advance of us doing it.
