Congressman Randy Neugebauer Talks Komen Foundation, Unemployment and More on Lubbock’s First News [AUDIO]

On Monday’s edition of Lubbock’s First News, Congressman Randy Neugebauer talked with Chad and Rex about the latest issues coming out of Washington.

Neugebauer said he was originally proud of Susan G. Komen Foundation’s decision to stop funding Planned Parenthood, until the foundation reversed their decision just a few days later. He said that by getting involved with Planned Parenthood, Komen has thrust itself into the political spotlight.
Planned Parenthood has been on the radar scope of Congress for a number of years, with a number of us, quite honestly, concerned about continuing to fund that organization at the same time they’re funding abortions.
Neugebauer also talked about the recent decline in unemployment numbers, attributing it to more people dropping out of the workforce that people finding jobs. He also talked about the situation in Egypt, Obamacare, congressional redistricting and gas prices.
