32 year-old Marine Captain, Nathan W. Anderson of Amarillo, was one of seven Marines killed in a training accident earlier this week in California.

The training accident involved a mid-air collision with an AH-1 Cobra attack helicopter and a UH-1 Huey transport chopper, which was piloted by Anderson.

Captain Anderson was stationed at the Marine Corps Air Station in Yuma, Arizona.  He leaves behind a wife and two sons. The other six Marines who perished in the accident were all stationed at Camp Pendleton.
