When looking for houses there are always a few requirements people need to be met. People typically consider things like the size of the home, the size of the property, the number of bedrooms, and the privacy, alongside other more specific requirements.

Typically, the larger the house or the larger the property, the more you will be paying for your home. For example, you can have a relatively small house on a large piece of land and end up paying just as much as someone with a large home on a relatively small plot. It just depends on your preference for more land or more house.

I recently came across a home located between Waco and Fort Worth in Aquilla, Texas, that is on over 13 acres of land. The house is small, with only two bedrooms and one bathroom, sitting at less than 800 square feet, but it was recently refurbished and looks really lovely on the inside. The property is massive and is located just off the I-35, making it convenient for travel.

Based on the price per acre of most of the lots selling in that area, you would expect a property of that size with a nice little home on it to be quite pricy, but this house is listed at only $300,000.

Obviously, there is the struggle of being away from a major city, but if you like the idea of living on a massive piece of property, away from the hustle and bustle of a city, this could be a great option.

Keep scrolling to see inside this home and on the property to determine if it is worth the price tag.
