Who can eat the most french fries in Lubbock?

Break out the ketchup and get ready to stuff your face with French Fries and possibly win some money.

July 13 is National French Fry Day and to celebrate, World of Beer in Lubbock will be hosting a French Fry eating context. Those who participate will be challenged to eat two pounds worth of french fries and keep them down. The winner will walk away, probably full, and with a $250 cash prize.

According to a press release, there will be other prizes as well.

Whoever takes down (and keeps down) 2LBS of fries will, not only win bragging rights, but will also take home a $250 cash prize! WOB will also give out prizes for 2^nd and 3^rd place for the two participants that couldn’t quite “ketchup” to the grand prize winner.
