After months of speculation of Kyler Murray going number one overall, the Arizona Cardinals selected Kyler Murray.

It wasn't a surprise. Murray has been linked to new Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury since 2012, when he was recruiting a young QB from Alan High School when Murray was a sophomore. Kingsbury tried to get him to Texas Tech as a college freshman. He recruited him as a transfer, but Murray chose Oklahoma.

Now, Kliff Kingsbury can take Murray, and he can't choose another option.

The University of Oklahoma is now the first school ever to have quarterbacks selected number one overall, back to back.

Now, to be fair, Kingsbury told us exactly what he was going to do with the number one overall pick last October, while he was still head coach at Texas Tech.
