Lubbock Mayor Tom Martin lost his re-election bid in a route to Glen Robertson. Robertson won the election with 65% of the vote and in different interviews the Mayor seemed shocked. So what was the reason why he lost in a landslide? Many are quick to say the anti-incumbent attitude that's out there, and that is a possibility. Other people say he failed to connect to voters. There are some who even say the citizens were bored with Martin and wanted a fresh face at City Hall.
