Volunteer Center of Lubbock Receives Best Buy Grant

A Lubbock organization has been awarded with a grant from a sizable store’s foundation.

The Volunteer Center of Lubbock has received a $10,000 grant to help enhance technology used in their youth programs.

The grant has been given by the Best Buy Children’s Foundation, in conjunction with the Lubbock-area Best Buy store.

The Volunteer Center of Lubbock will spend the grant on video equipment and software to assist the group in making their annual Celebration of Service video, as well as helping their Youth in Service, Youth in Philanthropy, and Youth Advisory Board.
