Just after 9:45 p.m., the Lubbock Police Department sent out an emergency notification via the LBK Alert System that they had closed the entire intersection of Slide Road and 13th Street.
We now know that at least two people were injured, and one of them died Monday morning at a hospital. The other is in stable condition. A third person involved was arrested at the scene of the crash by police.
