Upcoming Children’s Dental Health Fair at the Science Spectrum

Wednesday on KFYO Mornings with Dave King and Matt Martin, Dr. Colton Street joined Dave and Matt to talk about the upcoming Give Kids a Smile Children’s Dental Health Fair at the Science Spectrum.

This Saturday, February 9th, the Science Spectrum will be holding the Give Kids a Smile Children's Dental Health Fair from 10 am to 1 pm. This is an annual event hosted by the South Plains District Dental Society. Full admission to the Science Spectrum will be free for kids ages 12 and under. Dr. Street explained that the event will be a chance for dentists to explain to kids how to take care of their teeth, as well as recieve an oral screening.

"We're going to have dentists from around Lubbock and the surrounding area that will greet the children and the parents and talk to them about their oral health and some of the habits that they need to be doing daily and the care they can do to take care of their teeth."

In addition to this, the event will also have prizes for the kids, giveaways, face painting, balloons, the tooth fairy, temporary tattoos, and more.
