United to Hire 200 Additional Employees for new Market Street Location

A Lubbock-based supermarket will hold a series of job fairs for the opening of a new store.

United Supermarkets plan to hire an additional 200 employees for the opening of the new Market Street located at 19^th and Quaker. A total of 400 employees will work at the new location. The new store is scheduled to open January 9, 2013.

United will hold fairs starting on Monday, November 26^th through November 29^th at the City Bank Coliseum from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

This will be the 11^th Market Street location and third one in Lubbock. A United Express Convenience Store will be on site as well.

Positions will be available across the store, including department clerks, bakers, cooks, floral designers, stockers, night stockers, checkers, and sackers.
