TxDOT to Tow Abandoned Vehicles

TxDOT is prepared to tow vehicles that were abandoned as a result of this past weekend's epic winter storm.

Vehicle owners, who may have deserted their vehicles along area streets and highways,

are being asked to make a concerted effort to move their vehicles out of the way on Tuesday, December 29.

The stranded vehicles will hamper clean-up efforts and also serve as a hazard to the traveling public.

TxDOT will tow abandoned vehicles at the owner’s expense.
