TxDOT to Hold Public Hearing on Marsha Sharp Freeway Improvements

A public hearing has been scheduled for improvements to the Marsha Sharp Freeway.

TxDOT will host an Open House beginning at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, September 10^th with the public hearing scheduled at 6 p.m. in the Mesquite Training Center in the Lubbock District headquarters complex.

The headquarters complex is located at 135 Slaton Road in Lubbock.

The public hearing is to discuss and receive input on a project that will make improvements to the Marsha Sharp Freeway from Milwaukee Avenue to 82^nd Street in Lubbock and Wolfforth.

TxDOT personnel will discuss the proposed improvements to improve the freeway 2.6 miles. The proposed improvements will include building the freeway main lanes, frontage roads, entrance and exit ramps, a bridge interchange at Upland Avenue, and reconfiguring the bridge interchange that connects Spur 327 to the MSF.
