TxDOT Set to Begin Safety Project in Lubbock District

On Wednesday (April 11), TxDOT is set to begin a safety project in the Lubbock District.

Work consists of adding rumble strips, re-striping, and fog sealing roadways in the Lubbock District. The $1.04 million project will wrap up at the end of June.

Locations included in the project are:

• Cochran County - SH 214
• Dawson County - SH 137, US 180
• Gaines County - US 180, SH 214
• Hockley County - SH 114
• Lamb County - US 385
• Lubbock County - FM 400
• Parmer County - SH 21, SH 86
• Terry County - US 385
• Yoakum County - SH 214, SH 83

Drivers should expect speed limit reductions through work zones.
