TxDOT Announces Second Public Hearing on Lubbock Parkway Drive Projects

The Texas Department of Transportation is hosting the second public hearing for improvements to a stretch of US Highway 82, known as parkway drive, in Lubbock next week.

The proposed area runs from Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. east to Cherry Ave. and runs nearly three-quarters of a mile. Improvements include removing the southern frontage roads along Parkway Drive.

The public meeting begins at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, March 24, at the Alderson Elementary Auditorium at 219 Walnut Ave.
