Two People Face Charges in Death of Lubbock Teenager
Another Lubbock teenager was murdered over the weekend.
So far, police have charged one minor and an 18-year-old in the death of 17-year-old Brenden McGuire.
McGuire was dropped off by a vehicle at the University Medical Center ER on Saturday, January 27, just before 2:30 a.m. He had sustained gunshot wounds and would die at the hospital.
An unnamed minor has been charged with murdering McGuire, and 18-year-old Chryshtan Robin has been charged with Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle.
KAMC News reports that members of McGuire's claim that the shooting was a tragic accident. Law enforcement have not released their official report on the case, as it's still under investigation.
