Two people are dead following a wreck near Wolfforth.

The Department of Public Safety says that a tractor-trailer rig ran a stop sign at the intersection of Farm-to-Market Road 41 and Farm-to-Market 179 just after 10 a.m. Friday.

The tractor-trailer rig hit a Chevrolet Silverado, killing the driver of the pickup, 54-year-old Humberto Olvera and 25-year-old Veronica Rodriguez. They were pronounced dead at the scene. The Olvera's 4-year-old daughter Michelle was taken to University Medical Center where she is listed in critical condition.

Two others, 24-year-old Rufugio Olvera and 54-year-old Anatalia Olvera were also injured in the wreck, and were taken to UMC in serious condition.

The driver of the tractor trailer rig, 68-year-old Joseph Gibson was treated and released from UMC.
