As we enter the hottest season of the year, let's take a look at some record-breaking temps from years past in The Lone Star State.

Very recent as far as broken records are concerned. That's right, just last year Del Rio made history by breaking their hottest temperature record three times within four days, reaching 115 degrees at its zenith.

The city in the West Texas desert, Monahans saw a record-breaking temp of 119 degrees the same year Brazil won the World Cup, what a time.

Taking it old school with this one. To make the the '30s even more depressing... Seymour saw their record-high temperature of 120 degrees, tying with the number one spot for hottest Texas Temperature ever recorded.
