Tire Blowout Leads to Wreck

The Texas Department of Public Safety released information regarding a deadly crash that occurred Sunday (Aug. 13) afternoon in Callahan County.

KAMC News reports 42 year-old Aubrey Cossiah was driving a semi-truck along Interstate-20 when the truck suffered a tire blowout that caused the truck to jackknife. The semi-truck struck a car driving in the opposite direction of the semi-truck.

The driver of the car, 46 year-old Kimberly Belinda Carrillo was taken to a hospital after the crash where she later died.
