The 79th ABC Pro Rodeo is just a few weeks away, being held March 31st-April 2nd, 2022 at the Mallet Event Center in Levelland, Texas. This year's rodeo is the fourth to be held in Levelland following the demolition of the Lubbock Municipal Coliseum.

Tickets for this year's rodeo are on sale through Select-A-Seat, with prices starting at $10 plus service fees.

Just like in years past, there will be four performances scheduled over the three days of the rodeo. Opening Night is March 31st at 7:30 p.m. The second performance is scheduled for April 1st at 7:30 p.m. There's a Saturday matinee April 2nd at 1:30 p.m., and then the final performance on April 2nd at 7:30 p.m.

Events at each performance include: Saddle Bronc, Bareback, Steer Wrestling, Calf Roping, Team Roping, Barrel Racing, Bull Riding, Freestyle Bull Fight and Mutton Busting.

A sign-up/release form (PDF) must also be filled out for each child who participates in Mitton Busting.

ABC Pro Rodeo officials note that the Beutler & Son Rodeo Company will be providing the livestock for this year's rodeo. The ABC Pro Rodeo is a PRCA event and this year's payout is $20,750.
