The Frenship ISD Board of Trustees has approved the locations for 3 new schools set to open in fall of 2023, 2024 and 2025.

The new schools include a 9th elementary school, a 4th middle school, and a 2nd comprehensive high school.

The middle school, set to open in fall of 2023, will be located between Alcove Avenue and Upland Avenue along 60th Street in Wolfforth. The elementary school will open in the fall of 2024 and will be located about a block east of Alcove Avenue on 58th Street. The high school will open in the fall of 2025 and will be near 46th Street and Upland Avenue.

Frenship ISD said in a news release that they see an average 2-5% annual increase in student enrollment, so the construction of these new school should help accommodate the district's fast growth.

The construction of these new schools was approved by voters as part of the Frenship ISD 2020 Bond package. Along with construction the schools, the 2020 Bond will allow the district to make safety and security upgrades and renovate campuses.

So far, Frenship has secured the sites for the elementary and middle school, but the site for the high school is currently under contract and is projected to be finalized later in 2021.
