This Weather Forecast For Lubbock Is Shocking!
We are off to a beautiful start of the week for weather. With this being the first week of Daylight Saving Time, you can hardly beat the weather we are having in Lubbock. Warm temperatures and sunny skies.
But in just a few days, that warm weather is going away for a bit. And one forecast calls for a shocking high on Friday. It goes to show that maybe we are quit done with winter just yet.
High temperatures are supposed to be in the 80s on Tuesday and Wednesday. On Thursday, things begin to change as clouds move in and the high is only supposed to be in the low 70's.
Friday though could be the day that most people will hate here on the South Plains. Rain and wind are both in the forecast and national weather apps say the high is supposed to be in the low 50's, but that's not the shocking forecast. The shocking forecast is from KAMC. As of 1:30 pm on Tuesday, KAMC is forecasting Friday's high to be 38 degrees. Break out the hot chocolate and coats.
Temperatures will be on the rebound it appears Saturday with possible rain in the morning but high temperatures in the 50's.
Just more proof that we aren't done with cold weather yet.
