Things Aren't Looking Good for the Texas GOP Convention

The Texas GOP Convention is scheduled to take place in Houston July 16th-18th, 2020. Many in the party have wanted the convention to remain in-person for the delegates, but on Wednesday, hopes of having a "normal" convention took a turn.

First, it was reported that Texas officials, including Governor Greg Abbott and Lt. Governor Dan Patrick, would deliver remarks via video. Then, it was reported that the Mayor of Houston is looking for ways to shut down the convention.

Things aren't looking good, and one has to wonder if Republicans have enough time to have a smooth online convention.
