The South Plains Food Bank is partnering with United Supermarkets and Prosperity Bank in promoting their 37th annual U Can Share Food Drive this week.

The food drive will be held from Monday, December 2nd, 2019 through Saturday, December 7th. The South Plains Food Bank hopes to raise more than 200,000 pounds of canned food and dry goods, as well as up to $200,000 to help purchase even more food.

Other ways of donated to the South Plains Food Bank include:

  • Check-Out Hunger at all United Supermarkets (Market Street, United, Amigos), where you can purchase a pre-packaged donation bag for $8.
  • Online Auction at U-Can Share Food Drive Auction.
  • Scouting for Food: Boy Scouts will be going door-to-door to pick up food donations on Saturday, Dec. 7th.
  • Prosperity Bank: Communities outside of Lubbock can take food donations to their local Prosperity Bank branch.
