The Marines’ Toys for Tots Desperately Needs More Toys This Year
I have a good friend that works closely with Toys for Tots every year and this year they are looking pretty slim on toys for kids. They are in a big need for a last-minute surge of donations for kids on the South Plains to have a Christmas.
The Toys for Tots donation barrels were all picked up the other day because the official toy drive ended around December 13th. After collecting all the toys, they noticed that they looked really short on donations. So let's see if we can all pitch in last-minute and help the United States Marines fulfill their goal to local kids for Christmas.
You can still donate toys at Toys 'R' Us on Slide until December 15th, and cash donations can be made until December 24th. The United States Marines always get the job done, and this is our time to help them make sure of it.
As a bonus, if you stop by Sherwin Williams on Frankford Ave. on Friday, December 15 between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. or Sutherland's on 50th St. between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Saturday, December 16th you can purchase a $20 ticket to support Toys for Tots and be entered to win a bad-ass new 2017 Harley Davidson.
