The 2017 Lubbock Tattoo Expo will be held on Feb. 3rd, 4th and 5th at the Lubbock Civic center in Downtown Lubbock and organized by Sunken City Link and Local Tattoo Artist Mike Diaz and his family.

There will be over 200 artists, piercers, vendors and all sorts of entertainment all under one roof. The event will include tattoo artist and piercers from all over the nation.

The Lubbock Health Department will be on site all weekend monitoring all activity to ensure that all safety standards are being followed.

NeverEnding Memories Photography in Lubbock has teamed up with the Lubbock Tattoo Expo and put together the Men of Lubbock tattoo calendar and the Women of Lubbock tattoo Calendar, featuring local residents displaying their body ink. (Some of the models can be seen on the NeverEnding Memories Facebook page.)

Maci from MTV’s Teen Mom will also be in attendance, displaying items from her new clothing line.

One of the highlights of the show will include the “hole in the wall” tattoo booth. For $25, dollars a client can place their arm or leg in a hole in the wall and an artist will tattoo a quarter size tattoo on them. The client cannot see the tattoo until it is complete and has no say in what design the artist will do on them. But they will be tasteful in nature.

There will also be a battle of the bands contest. Winners will compete for a cash prize, while those “booed” by the audience will be pulled off the stage and eliminated from the competition.

Tickets to the expo are on presale right now for $10 a day pass and $20 for a weekend pass. You can visit the official website for more information on tickets.

Listeners can also follow Lubbock Tattoo Expo and NeverEnding Memories Photography on Facebook for chances to win free passes to the event.
