So Super Bowl XLVI has come and gone. The game itself was fast-paced, but lacked the excitement you'd normally expect from a Super Bowl. And the halftime show was…different. (to put it nicely…) But at least we had some good commercials this year. And when you're spending upwards of $3.5 million for a 30-second spot, it had better be good, or at least memorable. That being said, here are some of my favorite Super Bowl ads of 2012.

Audi: Vampire Party

Vampires used to be cool. But, thanks to the "Twilight" novels, they've been reduced to a bunch of angst-ridden heartthrobs that teenage girls go crazy over and everyone else loves to make fun of. Audi does it right in this commercial: when the headlights come on, the vampires go "poof."

Coca-Cola: Polar Bears

The return of these iconic Coca-Cola mascots was a welcome treat in this year's game. There were quite a few of these polar bear ads floating around last night, but I picked this one as my favorite of the night. As my older brother put it, "It's like what goes on at our house during a Cowboys game."

VW: The Dog Strikes Back

After last year's hilarious Darth Vader ad, everyone's been looking forward to what VW would come up with for this year's Super Bowl. This year's ad centers on an overweight dog instead of a Jedi, but it's still just as entertaining. And the twist at the end is sure to satisfy fans of the Force.

MetLife: Everyone

Snoopy also made an appearance at the Super Bowl, and he brought his friends with him. A LOT of his friends. Cartoon fans got a real surprise in this MetLife ad, which was one giant reunion of some of the most well-known and beloved classic cartoon characters of all time.

Doritos: Man's Best Friend

Doritos has always had some entertaining Super Bowl ads, and this year was no exception. This ad, which features an imposing dog bribing a man with the snack, probably ticked off a lot of cat-lovers, but the rest of us thought it was funny.

If you missed any of last night's ads, you can check them out here. Which one was your favorite?
