This is a favorite holiday pastime for many folks in the Hub City. So here is my list of the three best Christmas lights (and light shows) in Lubbock.

  • Santa Land – Beginning on December 10th and through December 23rd, Santa Land will be open, lights, trees and all. Their lights are always a sight to behold. And with a 60-foot tall lighted tree, you won't run out of fun lights to see!

  • Texas Tech Carol of Lights – Over 25,000 LED lights awaits you as 13 buildings are lit up around the Tech Campus for this annual event.

  • 59th and Indiana – This is my pick of best light display in Lubbock. It's been going on for years and, of course, it's synchronized to music. But get there early -- the line gets very long, very fast. Oh, and tune your radio to 93.3 FM!
