Texas Tech’s library will now feature extended hours.

The Texas Tech University Library will be open around the clock beginning at 10 a.m. on Sundays until 11 p.m. Fridays, and 10 a.m. until 11 p.m. on Saturdays.

Dean of Libraries Donald Dyal said “even though the Library already has more open hours than any building on campus, we want to accommodate the increased demand from our student population and help them to achieve their academic goals.

Anyone entering the library after 10 p.m. must enter through the east doors and show their university I.D. The new hours go into effect after the Labor Day holiday.
