Texas Tech has announced their summer graduation ceremonies schedule.

More than 1,580 students will graduate on Saturday, August 11th during the 2012 summer commencement ceremonies.

At 9 a.m. Saturday, summer graduates from the Tech Graduate School, University College, College of Visual & Performing Arts, Jerry S. Rawls College of Business Administration, Edward E. Whitacre Jr. College of Engineering, and the College of Human Sciences will receive their diplomas.

The next commencement will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, and will include graduating students from the Graduate School, College of Agricultural Sciences & Natural Resources, College of Architecture, College of Education, College of Mass Communications, and the College of Arts & Sciences.

The commencement ceremonies will be held at the United Spirit Arena, located at 18th Street and Indiana Avenue.

This summer’s commencement speaker is Jim Angle, chief national correspondent for FOX News Channel.
