Texas Tech Police Investigating Potentially Threatening Message Left in Bathroom Stall
Posted last night was information about an investigation on the Texas Tech campus. In Holden Hall, on a bathroom wall, was a message about shooting up the campus this morning.
The message found on the bathroom wall said:
"I'm going to shoot up the school
10/5/18
11:00 am"
So far, no further news about the writing, or subsequent investigation, has been released.
This news comes the same day a false campus evacuation notice was sent to Texas Tech students during a training exercise.
No class cancellations have been announced so far, however a heightened security presence is to be expected on campus today.
We will continually update this story as more info is released.
