Texas Tech Football Falls In The AP Poll, Looking To Bounce Back

Texas Tech has dropped in the rankings according to the Associated Press after Saturday's loss to Arizona State in Tempe. Texas Tech fell to Arizona State 26-22 in a game where the offense struggled for most of the game under backup QB Will Hammond. While the loss surprised many and hurt the Red Raiders in the AP Poll, Texas Tech is still very much alive for the Big 12 title and a spot in the College Football Playoff.

Texas Tech Football Ranked #14

Texas Tech fell 7 spots on Sunday from #7 in the nation to #14. Texas Tech is now 6-1 overall and 3-1 in conference play. Texas Tech is in 4th place in the Big 12 with BYU as the only unbeaten team in the conference.

Texas Tech will see how, as a team, they respond to a loss. when they face Oklahoma State on Saturday at 3pm at Jones AT&T Stadium in Lubbock. Oklahoma State comes into the game at the bottom of the Big 12 with only one win on the season. While Oklahoma State is having a down season, they always play Texas Tech hard and they will be looking to spoil the Red Raiders season on Saturday.
